DAY 02 – Old and New Delhi City Tour

Pickup at 9:00 AM for a full day covering Old and New Delhi. Start at Jama Masjid, built by Shah Jahan out of red sandstone and white marble. Take a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, one of India's oldest markets. Duck into Paratha Wali Gali, a narrow lane where the same families have fried stuffed parathas for generations. Wander the Spice Market at Khari Baoli, said to be Asia's largest, before seeing the Red Fort from outside. Continue to Humayun's Tomb, the garden-tomb that later inspired the Taj Mahal, then India Gate and a drive past Parliament House. End the day at Qutub Minar and the lotus-shaped Baháʼí Lotus Temple.

DAY 03 – Delhi to Agra (3 Hrs) and Agra City Tour.

After breakfast and a 10:00 AM check-out, drive roughly three hours to Agra. Check in, then head out to see Itimad-Ud-Daulah, nicknamed the Baby Taj for the marble inlay work that came before the real thing. End the day with sunset views of the Taj Mahal from across the river at Mehtab Bagh. Overnight stay in Agra.

DAY 04 – Agra City Tour and Drive to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri (4 Hours)

Start early for a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, when the marble shifts colour in the morning light and the crowds haven't arrived yet. Return for breakfast and check-out, then visit Agra Fort. Shah Jahan was later held captive here, with a distant view of the monument he built. Drive toward Jaipur, stopping at Fatehpur Sikri, the sandstone capital Emperor Akbar abandoned after just a few years. Arrive in Jaipur, check in, and rest. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

DAY 05 – Jaipur City Tour and Drive to Pushkar

After breakfast and check-out, explore Jaipur: Amber Fort with an optional elephant ride up its ramparts, and Jal Mahal floating on Man Sagar Lake. See Hawa Mahal, its honeycomb facade cut with small windows for royal women to watch the street below. Continue to City Palace and the astronomical instruments at Jantar Mantar, then the Monkey Temple. Drive to Pushkar afterwards, check in, and stay overnight.

DAY 06 – Pushkar City Tour and Drive to Jodhpur

After breakfast and check-out, spend the morning in Pushkar, a lakeside town built around one of the world's few temples dedicated to Brahma. Visit Pushkar Lake, Man Mahal, and the Brahma Temple, then browse the local markets, with an optional camel ride if you'd like. Drive on to Jodhpur, check in, and stay overnight.

DAY 07 – Jodhpur Sightseeing Tour

After breakfast, spend the day exploring Jodhpur. See Mehrangarh Fort standing watch over the blue-washed old city, and Jaswant Thada, a marble memorial called the Taj Mahal of Marwar. Visit Umaid Bhawan Palace too, part royal residence and part Art Deco landmark. Round out the day at Sardar Government Museum, Mandore Gardens, and the Clock Tower Market. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Jodhpur.

Best Time to Visit Golden Triangle and Rajasthan

October to March is the best time to visit Golden Triangle and Rajasthan. Days stay cool and clear, ideal for early monument visits and long drives between cities.

December and January are the coolest months, though Delhi and Agra mornings can turn foggy. If sunrise photos matter to you, build in some flexibility around the Taj Mahal visit.

April to June turns hot across Rajasthan, especially in Jodhpur and Jaipur, where temperatures often cross 40°C. Travel is still possible, just plan sightseeing for early mornings and evenings.

Monsoon season, July to September, brings humidity and occasional heavy rain, though Udaipur's lakes look their fullest during this time.

For most travelers on this itinerary, October to March remains the easiest and most comfortable window to book.

Golden Triangle Jodhpur Udaipur Tour Price: Budget to Luxury

Golden Triangle Jodhpur Udaipur tour price depends mainly on your choice of hotels and vehicle. We offer a few comfort levels, so you can pick what fits your trip.

Blue City and Lakes: Top Things to Do in Jodhpur and Udaipur

Jodhpur and Udaipur feel like two different worlds, not just two cities. Jodhpur, the Blue City, is known for its indigo-washed old town and Mehrangarh Fort towering above it. Udaipur, the City of Lakes, is calmer, built around water instead of desert. Together, they make this a genuine Blue City and City of Lakes tour, not just a fort-hopping itinerary.

Top things to do in Jodhpur and Udaipur start with their forts and palaces:

Planning the route yourself?

Jaipur to Jodhpur travel time runs about five to six hours by road, covering roughly 340 kilometres. Our itinerary instead routes through Pushkar, adding a holy town without much extra driving. The Jodhpur to Udaipur highway drive duration is shorter, around five hours, made easier by the stop at Ranakpur Temple.
