A few simple preparations can make the journey more comfortable and help you enjoy the tour without any difficulties. These small tips can be useful while traveling through Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur.
During the tour you will spend time walking around monuments, forts, and city streets. It is better to wear light and comfortable clothes. In the summer months cotton clothing works well because the weather can be warm. During winter, mornings and evenings may feel cooler, so carrying a light jacket or sweater is helpful. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended since many historical sites require walking. When visiting temples or religious places, modest clothing is usually preferred.
Keeping a few basic items with you during the day can make the trip easier. A reusable water bottle, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat can be useful, especially during sunny days. It is also a good idea to carry your phone charger or power bank if you plan to take many photos. Always keep a valid identification document with you, as hotels usually ask for it during check in.If you plan to take photos during the trip, make sure your phone or camera has enough storage space. Most travelers like to take many pictures, especially at places like the Taj Mahal.
Before visiting the Taj Mahal it is useful to know that some items are not allowed inside the monument area. Large bags, food, tobacco, drones, and tripods are restricted. Visitors are usually advised to carry only small and necessary things such as a mobile phone, a small camera, and a water bottle. Bringing fewer items also makes the security check easier when entering the complex.
Most Golden Triangle trips begin in Delhi, and it is quite an introduction to India. The city is busy, energetic, and full of history. In Old Delhi the streets are narrow and crowded, with shops, food stalls, and people everywhere. Places like Jama Masjid and Chandni Chowk show what the city looked like centuries ago. New Delhi feels more open and organized, with wide roads and landmarks such as India Gate and Humayun’s Tomb. When visitors spend a day here, they usually notice how the old and the modern parts of the city exist side by side. We will cover the most visited in sites in Old and New Delhi in this 5 Days Golden Triangle Tour.
Agra is mainly known for the Taj Mahal, and most travelers visit the city for this reason. Seeing the monument in person is very different from seeing it in photographs. The white marble changes color with the light, especially during sunrise. Agra also has other historical places worth visiting. Agra Fort is a large Mughal fort where emperors once lived. Many visitors also stop at Mehtab Bagh, a quiet garden across the river that offers a nice view of the Taj Mahal.
Jaipur is the last or third city you will visit in Golden Triangle Tour in 5 days. Jaipur is a capital city of Rajasthan and very famous for its Royal Palaces, Forts and colorful vibrant markets. Places you will visit in Jaipur will be Amber Fort, Jal Mahal, Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Jantar Mantar (observatory) and Patrika Gate. In Jaipur you will find many traditional arts and crafts such jewelry, gemstone, block printed textiles and blue pottery.
